Jesus is the Only Way to Heaven

The Bible clearly states that there is no other way of going to heaven than through Jesus Christ. Jesus says in John 14:6 (KJV) "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me". He is not one of many ways, but He is the way. He is the way as the one and only. No one can came to God the Father regardless of achievement, popularity, good works or personal holiness except through Jesus Christ.

He promised that those who believe in Him will have eternal life (John 3:14–15 KJV)"And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up. That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life"He is the gate of the sheep (John 10:7); the bread of life (John 6:35); and the resurrection (John 11:25). No one else can rightly claim those titles.

Through Jesus Christ, everyone who believed and have faith in Him is set free from sin. The Bible says in Acts 13:38-39 (KJV) "Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins:

And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses".

Eternal life in heaven is made possible only through Christ.We must trust in Jesus’ death on the cross as our payment for sin and in His resurrection. "He is the way, the truth and the life, no man cometh to the father, but by me" John 14:6 KJV.

The Assurance of Salvation

How can we have the assurance of salvation? Many people think that they can get it through good works, religion, attending to church and other reasons.

What does the bible really says about it?

The bible says in 1 John 5:11-13 (KJV)

"And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.

He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.

These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God."Who is it that has the Son? It is those who have believed in Him (John 1:12). If you have Jesus, you have life. Not temporary life, but eternal.

The Lord Jesus Christ also assures salvation for those who are believes in Him. It says in John 10:28-29 (kjv)" And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand."

We can have the assurance of salvation through Jesus Christ our Lord. Just admit your sins, repent, ask forgiveness and have faith in Him. Our assurance of salvation is based on what He does on the cross. He offer His own life for us, shed His blood, suffered and died. But after three days and three nights He rose again. And that is what we called GOSPEL.

Where will you be after this Life?

Where will you be after this life? Are you sure of going to heaven? Do you believe that the Bible is the word of God? Do you believe that there are heaven and hell? How can you know for sure that you will go to heaven when you die?

Do you know that you have eternal life after this life? The Bible clearly states that God wants you to be sure. The Bible says in 1 John 5:13 (KJV) " These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of GOd; that ye may know that you have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the Son of God". Only you need to do is to know that God loves us and provided a way that you may know for sure that you have eternal life. The Bible says in John 3:16 (KJV) "For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

But before that, let us first discuss the condition of us in the sight of God. Do you know that we are sinner? The Bible states in Romans 3:10 (KJV) "For all have sinned and come short to the glory of God" and also in Romans 3:10 (KJV) "As it is written, the is none righteous, no not one".
It does not matter how big or small your sin is. Whether you commit murder or lie, it is the same sin in the sight of God. The Bible says that our sin has a punishment, and it is death. "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord"(Romans 6:23 KJV).
We have two types of death, the physical and spiritual. The simple definition of death of death is separation. We are separated to God.The physical death is where our physical body will be no more breath to take and our corpse take into the cemetery and returned to the ground where God created us. The spiritual death means that our soul will be thrown in the lake of fire which is hell. The Bible says in Revelation 21:8 (KJV) "But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters and all liars, shall have their part in the lake of fire and brimstone: which is the second death".

God is holy and just to punish sin, All of us deserve the punishment of hell. But the sad story never ends there, because one of attribute that God has that He is a lovable God. He sent His only begotten Son Jesus Christ to save us from our sins. He died and shed His blood on the cross for the ransom of many, The bible says in 1 Timothy 2:6 (KJV) "Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time". The Bible clearly states that there is no other way to go to heaven, our good deeds, religion, and even on our own effort. The Bible says in John 14:6 (KJV) "I am the way, the truth and the life, no one can come to the Father except by me"

All you need to do is to accept that Jesus Christ is your Lord and Savior and ask forgiveness for all your sins. God is just and faithful to forgive us from our mistakes and disobedience. The moment that you received Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, the Bible states that you have the assurance to go to heaven. The Bible says in 1John 5:13 (KJV) "These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of Son of God". You can now spend eternity with Jesus in heaven, for He promised in John 14:3 (KJV)"And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also".
